Walkthrough Demos

This page features demos that follow our walkthrough. To run the demos, follow these instructions:

Make sure you're running v1.11 (patch it up if you're not)
Download the zipped demos by clicking on the links below
Unzip the file into your hexen II\data directory
Run Hexen II and bring down the console (hit "~")
Type "timedemo demoname.dem"
Sit back and watch the show

Note that you have to use the timedemo command, as opposed to the playdemo command to view these demos. Using the playdemo command will lock your computer up when it tries to change levels. In the interest of keeping file sizes small, I used cheat codes to record these demos, but hey, try it yourself without the codes.
