Hub 4 Questions

Q: I get zorched by lightening every time I try to approach the silver bar in Hub 4. I also get ambushed by lots of monsters. Any way around this?

A: Yes. Be penitent before the throne of Zeus by crouching as you approach it. This will avoid both the problems you mentioned. You can also destoy the thing hanging from the ceiling that fires the lightning at you, though you'll still get gang-tackled by lots of Archer Lords.

Q: Is there any way to keep the imps from ambushing me when I get the gold bar in Hub 4?

A: Sure is. Remember to "Draw no weapon before the alter of Athena". Well, it's good enough that just don't USE a weapon in the room. The imps will remain asleep. You can uncover the hidden footplate by standing outside the room and firing a ranged weapon at the top of the stairs.

Q: HEY! All the goodies that were supposed to be waiting for me in the Temple of Mars are gone! Where'd they go?

A: If you save and restore your game at any point in Hub 4, the prizes will disappear. However, they may still be there, depending on where you saved your game:

If you saved in the room where the prizes are, they'll be gone for good when you restore.
If, however, you saved outside the room where the prizes are (on any map), they'll still be there. They're just invisible. Hop up on the pad and grab them.

Q: Okay, but I'm still missing a couple of the prizes, no matter what.

A: It appears there are 2 prizes you never get: The Summoning Stone from behind the statue of Athena, and the Chaos Device from the Baths of Demetrius. Also notice that the Icon of the Defender is always there, no matter what.
