This is the Mezo-American hub. Apparently the Four Horsemen are somehow mystically linked, and the energies that release upon one's destruction whisk you away to another. Prepare to face scorpions, were-jaguars, and the deadly were-panther. You've never seen monsters in 3D games act like this! Don't hope that Eidolon's dark minions will simply stand there and let you pick them off from afar. These creatures sprint, leap, dive, roll, and bash, making this hub the most combat intensive of them all. Fiends from the first hub have also made their way to the jungles of Mazaera. You'll find more archers, golems, hydras, and skull wizards than you can swing a sword at. This level culminates in a brush with Death, the second of Eidolon's dark generals. This is probably my favorite hub. The puzzles seem to flow for the most part, and the scenery and textures are probably the most beautiful in the game.

You start this hub in The Plaza of the Sun. Walk forward and take a left at the intersection. Defeat the golem and hit the button on the wall. |

Turn around and follow the hall back to the (now) 4-way intersection. Go straight, follow the path, and hit the lever to extend the bridge across the lava. Return to the 4-way intersection, go right, follow the path across the bridge and over the lava. Enter the structure. |

Go straight, through a narrow doorway to the right or left, and approach the alter to open the wall at the top of the stairs. Ascend the stairs and grab weapon #3. Turn around and face the stairs. Go around to the left for a Tome of Power. Then go around to the other side and enter the door leading to the Obelisk of the Moon. |

Follow the path around and down the stairs. Enter the structure and go straight to a room with an obelisk. Complete the sequence by walking on both floor plates. This will open 3 doors. |

Go through the left door (when facing the obelisk the way you first came in). Follow the hall to a corridor with torches lining the walls. Find the collapsing bridge on your right. Stand on the edge and look down. Drop down to the platform, go through the teleporter, open the door, and grab the ornamental stone key. |

Race across the collapsing bridge (remember to jump at the end!). Return to the door leading to The Plaza of the Sun. Enter. Go back down the stairs by the altar inside the building. Go to the corridor behind the stairs where the two locked marble doors are. |

Open the door to the left and follow the hall to the Test of Fire. Prove your worth by hopping across the bobbing platforms to hit three buttons on either side and rear of the central structure. Jump from one of the higher platforms to the center structure. Go around to the front to collect the Fire element. |
